Abstract:
A new approach is proposed to modeling reflection data, which is based on the numerical implementation of the reflection operator at internal reflectors. This operator is implemented in the form of the modified effective reflection coefficient. The advantages of using the modified effective reflection coefficient compared to a previous version, spherical reflection coefficient and plane-wave reflection coefficient are illustrated.
