Abstract: A nonlinear system of equations based on quintic splines is derived for approximating solutions of two-point boundary value problems. Solving this system yields a spline interpolating the solutions under consideration. The proposed method is applied to several benchmark problems, and numerical experiments confirm its efficiency and accuracy.
