Abstract: Finite groups are isospectral if they have the same sets of element orders. In this paper, we complete the description of finite groups isospectral to the simple groups PSLn(q) or PSUn(q), where n ≥ 11. We also obtain a substantial restriction on the structure of finite groups isospectral to orthogonal and symplectic groups.
