Abstract: Interpretations are an effective tool for transferring properties from one algebraic structure to another. Absolute interpretations, which are rare, have the most power, while parameterized interpretations have the least, and the compromise option is regular interpretations. This talk will discuss universal methods for constructing regular interpretations from interpretations with parameters and absolute interpretations from regular interpretations.
