We propose a new method for finding a tunnel-type trajectory bundle in which there are canard solutions in a two-dimensional dynamical system with a small parameter. As an application, a kinetic model of a heterogeneous catalytic reaction is considered that takes into account the effect of the reaction medium on the catalyst.
