Abstract: We study the Defrise Universe with a negative cosmological constant. The curvature, Ricci, Einstein, and Weyl tensors, as well as the matrices of covariant and contravariant energy-momentum tensors, are calculated. It is proved that the condition of timelike convergence holds and that the weak energy condition is violated. Using the Weyl tensor of conformal curvature, we establish that the Defrise Universe has degenerate Petrov type II, type N.
