Abstract:
We study the second or derordinary differential equations satisfied by the follow-in gsp ecial functions: Bessel function, hypergeometric function, Weierstrass elliptic function. We prove that all these equations are metrizable and construct explicitly the corresponding metrics. We show that in all mentioned cases the geodesic equations admit a first integral, which is linear in momenta.
