Abstract: We establish a duality between the category of algebraic lattices with complete lattice homomorphisms as morphisms and the category of join semilattices whose morphisms are join-semilattice homomorphisms possessing an additional refinement property. We draw several conclusions from this duality to benefit Lattice Theory.
